Google has partnered with Reliance Intelligence, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, to offer its Gemini 2.5 Pro AI for free to Jio subscribers in India.

For 18 months, users on Jio’s Unlimited 5G plan will receive a Google AI Pro subscription at no extra cost. This includes access to Google’s flagship AI, advanced image and video generation tools like Nano Banana and Veo 3.1, and enhanced features of the NotebookLM service. The package also provides 2TB of Google cloud storage, valued at around Rs 35,100 ($396).
The promotion will initially target Jio users aged 18–25 through the MyJio app, with plans to expand to all eligible subscribers later. Notably, in 2020, Google invested $4.5 billion in Jio, acquiring a 7.7% stake in the company.
